The Dodge Charger has been known to have a lengthy and fascinating history. And though it is a sedan, the new Dodge Charger features a sloping rear that is similar to that of a coupe.
The basic SE model of the Dodge Charger comes with an impressive 3.5 liter, 250 horsepower V6 engine. The performance model R/T is packed with 340 hp, 5.7 liter V8 hardware. The top of the line SRT-8 (Street and Racing Technology) comes with a mind-blowing 425 hp, 6.1 liter, V8 engine. Apart from the powerful engine, the SRT model is pimped with bigger brakes, stiffer suspension and other cosmetic extras.
One of the setbacks of the new Dodge Charger has to do with its bulk. Due to its size, the Dodge Charger is not as nimble as its much smaller cousins. Handling remains secure though. The roomy interior and comfortable leg room earns points among old and new Dodge Charger fans. Dodge Charger diehards would be thrilled to learn that there is an all new line of Dodge Charger keychains out in the market.
