Anyone else excited about the prospect of getting the Xbox 360 for cheaper? I'd like that a lot.
It seems that all of the major players in the gaming industry are trying to outdo each other with cheaper gaming systems. Makes sense with people spending less in the slow economy.
The leader of the pack is the Wii with a price point of $249. PS3 comes in with a new $299 model.
So what's the Xbox 360 doing?
It looks like Microsoft will drop the price on all three models. The 120GB goes to $399. The 60GB would go to $299. And the Arcade would drop to $199.
I hope these rumors are true. It will probably mean that both Nintendo and Sony would be soon to follow with further price drops. Who does want an Xbox 360 for cheap?
