For centuries , people have been fasting as a means to lose weight quickly. And this is the most famous way of weight control until today even. In June 2008, one magazine published,highlighted the importances of fasting as a way to losing weight quickly. Yes it true people can lose weight quickly by fasting. However when we start eating normally again, the weight that we lost during fasting will gained back as quickly as we lost it. At the end of the day all the efforts expended will be for nothing.
The reason people gain back the lost weight is that they get back to their old, bad lifestyle habits as soon as they lose weight. People think that once they have lost weight, they no longer need to worry about the kinds of foods they eat, so having soda, burgers, etc. are all okay. However, it is not so! If you want to make fasting work for you, you need to eat healthy right from the time you break your fast. Eat raw vegetables and fruits - they have loads of fiber which would ensure that you don't feel hungry too often. Plus they don't contain any toxins. It is important that you eat non-toxic foods while you are trying to flush out toxins from inside your body.
Do you know that your weight gain is indicative of the fact that your body is full of toxins? We acquire these toxins in a number of ways: through foods, drinks, air, etc. These toxins are so harmful that they will force you to eat a lot more food than you actually need; they will also slow down your metabolic rate to such an extent that you will burn very little or no fat. Consequently, you'll gain weight!
1.Choose Healthy Snacks : If you are conscience of what you eat for your snack, then snacking need not necessarily be bad for your health. Soda & cookies are not good as snacks at all. They are usually high in sugar content. But your choices of snacks are like carrots or celery sticks, then they will be healthy for you. It is also advisable to for you after snacking to indulge in some light physical activities. You need not start running to the gym, doing just a little chores around the house will be enough to burn the calories that you just consumed.
2. Drink enough water: Our body is primarily made up of water, in fact 83% of it. Therefore it makes good sense to drink a lots of water daily as its is a very important component of our body. For an adult, 8 glasses of water is required daily. If you recall back that toxins can cause obesity, the function of water is to remove these harmful toxins through our kidneys. Through this way, the body will be slowly detoxified and in time you will also lose weight.
