Some more effort has to be put in by you in that you have to get the photo printed, find a suitable frame, hunt for the places where these competitions are going to be held and get you exhibit entered. Though the exposure is limited, it has its plus points. Whether your photo wins a price or not, droves of people do come and see it and photos do get sold here too.

It is better to start with the stock photo option initially and buyers start trickling in, it is time a web site of your own becomes a reality. A simple variation is to ride piggy-bank on some established web site that caters to just such business. Of course you will have to pay a fee for the use of their services. So, if you have a lot of photos and want to sell them, try the methods outlined above and see what you get.
