In a previous article, I talked about how achieving goals is much like the GPS system of a car; provide a destination and the GPS will show you how to get there. Without identifying a destination, the GPS cannot guide you.
When you made your list of your Top 3 Goals, I mentioned the importance of connecting with your sense of desire and the more desire attached to your goals, the more powerful they become. So let's expand on that idea.
Desire is one of the most powerful motivators that human beings have. Desire can give us the motivation we need to really make things happen for us. If you desire something enough, the impossible becomes possible.
When you really desire something, everyone and everything around you will feel and respond to this energy - even the Universe itself! The necessary situations and people will then be drawn to you to make it happen. You'll find that help will appear fro unexpected places when the Universe is on your side and helping you to achieve your objectives.
That's why you need to connect with your desire when you have goals you want to achieve. The more desire you have attached to your objective, the easier it will be for you to make it happen. The Universe feels this desire and helps to make your goal a reality. Ach and every one of us has this power - and we can use it to make our dreams come true!
When the Universe is supporting your every step, it's a lot easier to get to your destination because you're working in partnership. The only thing you are required to do to invoke support is to pursue goals that carry desire.
If you really want to change your career or your entire life for the better, it can be easy. Look at it this way - if the Universe responds to your desires, then anything you want badly enough can be achieved; as long as you work at your goal with all your desire. This is the secret to why people who go after their passions do so well for themselves. It's also why it's hard to become a success going after something which doesn't make you happy.
For most, change is not easy and this is why so many choose to remain where they are. Frankly, quitting your job or changing careers for the sake of pursuing your passion can be nerve racking. The responsibility of caring for a family is the most common reason for not wanting to leave a secure situation. While providing for your family is a valid concern, it isn't a valid reason to remain in a situation that is limiting. What is the cost at the end of the day? You hate the work, the hours are long, you're missing out on precious family time - and you are at the mercy of someone else's time clock (either your boss or your clients).
This is something which is impossible to fake. The Universe can't be fooled and if you don't truly desire your goal, it won't help you to meet it. Make sure that you connect your desire to your goal and start working to make them happen - the Universe will take care of the rest.
