Just like any type of dog breed that you bring into your home, your new Pomeranian has to be trained to go potty where you see fit, as your new carpets just are not going to work for the job. You have to decide whether you want your little dog going outside or inside. While most people automatically answer outside, it is important to think about every situation that can come up.

Remember, Pomeranian paper training is best even if you are trying to get you dog to eliminate outside, as I will explain a little later. This type of training method is able to give the owner a little more control over the situation and to hopefully avoided messes on your floor which could ruin thousands of dollars worth of carpet. When done correctly, Pomeranian paper training can be successfully completed in as little as two or three weeks.

Pomeranian paper training is used not only for indoor potty training, but for outdoor potty training as well. Paper training is an excellent tool to use if your dog does not seem to want to automatically go outside. Some animals pick up on outdoor potty training quicker then others so you must be patient and take your time. If your Pomeranian training isn't going the way you wanted, you may want to consider the paper training in order to help your little one find their way outside to do their business.

Some animals take to the yard faster then others and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it, as even dog training books will explain. By laying down paper, preferably in the place where your puppy has already gone inside your house when they had an accident, they will become accustomed to going to the paper.

Each day, slowly move the paper a couple of feet and allow your puppy to relieve himself on the paper. Each day, as you get closer to the door, your puppy is slowly, and without realizing it, being trained to head to a certain door for potty time. Once at the door, leave it there for a few days until you are ready to place it on the other side of the door. By doing that, your puppy will want to go outside to the paper. After a few days of that, you can completely remove the paper.

Pomeranian paper training for dogs that will be going inside the home is easier then getting them to go outside. You may have seen that your puppy or dog may have already picked a section of your carpet that they want to use as their potty location. No matter how much you clean and scrub and spray, the dog still goes back to the same location. It is not because they are dead set on ruining that one spot but it is the fact that their scent is still there and they are creatures of habit.

Using this to your advantage, you will want to place the paper down on the place where they always seem to go at. Then, after a day or so, you will want to slide the paper three feet or so in the direction of where you actually want them to go.

As with any Pomeranian training, you must take your time and be calm in order to achieve the success you want.
