If you use keywords on the alt tags this gives maximum opportunity for usage of the keyword and thus emphasizes more on the page.
Importance of link popularity
When people search for relevant websites using the search engines they do not go beyond the first page. Thus it is necessary that your website be duly located which can catch the eye of the reader. If you have links directing towards your website this will ensure heavy traffic.
The Anchor Text
Anchor texts are the gateway to your website. These texts help your visitors directly onto your webpage. Use keywords in your anchor texts so that the search engines are capacitated to detect them and group them in the correct category.
Check the Indexed Pages
The search engine always uses the indexing format to locate content. You need to ensure that all your pages are properly indexed with no missing titles or descriptions. You can check for these in your website by keying the URL in Google search which will open up the pages for you.
Relevant theme
Make sure the theme is rich in content to attract the search engine and also be in tandem with the content in your website. Avoid lengthy descriptions in your content since neither the search engines nor the visitors have patience to wait for slow downloading websites.
