The use of article marketing is still the number one way to get more people to visit your website and one that won't cost a cent! The whole aim of the article is for people interested in it to follow the link you have placed at the foot of the page, to the website of your choice. For the best response, a website or blog for example that is well visited each day is the best place to submit it; within a relatively short period you should start to experience more visitors at your site. Popular sites tend to be recognized as 'authority' sites, so if your article is used it can improve your credibility also; do not underestimate the power of trust in the online world.
Article marketing carried out regularly can bring fantastic rewards as people begin to see you as an expert in your field. Showing people you are knowledgeable on certain topics means they will trust whatever you write and bookmark your site. Incoming links to your site from people that trust your work will boost your ranking with the various search engines; the benefit of this is there will be an increase in people that find you through the search engines. Links from other sites (especially if they are popular) just improves your ranking and exposure; the greatest benefit of this is none of it is costing you a single dollar!
A number of links to other relevant sites can be placed in the body text (not too many) when using article marketing. When your articles are good, they get spread around the internet and of course each version will have links back to your own so the more links you have, the more your ranking will grow. It is not unusual for Google and other search engines to take months before they start to list a website. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.
To increase your website ranking further, you need to be adding more content (preferably unique) to your website (or blog) all the time if you want your article marketing to work. Remember that visitors do not know that your website is trying to get them to buy something. Visitors are searching for information so the more precise and truthful you can be about whatever it is you are promoting the better. This is the ideal time to highlight the benefits of the product or service to the visitor. This procedure is almost like a safety net because you are explaining the process to them so they will not misunderstand. It is this approach that prevents a good many refunds form taking place.
If you want visitors to your websites then you must continue your article marketing this way; this does require you to understand that all of this cannot be achieved with just one article. Remember, if you have an interesting site you will also receive links from other website owners who may also use your article as well; your content or article will have information that other people are seeking. You cannot dismiss just how effective article marketing is at getting people to your site for free; provided you keep adding unique, but relevant, content to your site, visitors will return.
