Rhonda Byrne is the executive producer of the film and writer of the book by the same name. The Secret came to her one night after reading a book her daughter had given her. She used The Secret to turn her life around at a time when it was falling to pieces. The Secret is all about the Law of Attraction and giving to others.
Mental focus is the essence of the Law of Attraction. You have to point a mental laser beam at whatever it is you desire. While working on the film of The Secret, she withdrew money from an ATM, money that was supposed to be used for bills, and handed it to strangers on the street. Before the film had even started making money, she began giving copies away for free to people in places like Africa so that they could begin living The Secret.
