There are many rumors in circulation that claim that Russian brides are cheap and can be virtually bought from a website. These rumors could not be further than the truth. The fact remains that Russia is an extremely proud nation, and not every Russian girl is a scam artist. As a matter of fact, Russian women, by and large, are only looking for love, like any other woman of the world.
Very often, men from western countries and cultures are sent to Russia for business trips. While many others go there because their office has settled in St. Petersburg, Moscow or other cities. These men who have visited or lived in Russia are full of stories concerning the charm and wit of the many beautiful and educated Russian women they have met.
Indeed Russian women are beautiful and charming, but many of them know that beauty is only skin deep. They have been approached by many wealthy men, but they know how to recognize the men who are only after their looks, rather then getting to know the real woman. When you start dating a local girl you need to get to know her, while being witty and charismatic.
There is something that is called the 3 second contract. It is simple and is a very effective way to pick up a Russian woman.
When you are walking towards her, pretend as if you having an internal dialogue with yourself. Try to look pensive as you are having this internal drama with yourself. You will probably be nervous, but try not to show her this, just keep up your coy exterior. Do this for only 3 seconds.
Then, look as though you have instantly made your mind up about something and walk up to her and say "Privet". It is the equivalent way of saying hello and is a good beginning to a conversation. From your accent, she would have deduced that you are a foreigner and she will prepare for what to say next.
Almost all Russians speak a foreign language, and if you are lucky it will be English or the language you speak. Today, English is everywhere, from business correspondence, television and movies. She will be interested in what you have to say, because she might get a little excited on knowing that you come from America.
Try out any Russian phrases or words you may now. This will show her that you want to respect her native culture. Foreign languages are certainly not easy to understand and this will put you both on the same playing field, so to speak. Russian women are very friendly and she will probably help you out when speaking to her. During these 3 seconds when you walked towards her she found that you were spontaneous in the way you spoke to her, amiable, and kind to speak to her in Russian. You are already off to a great start towards dating and a beautiful friendship as well.
But, this is not always how it turns out. She may be engaged or have other reasons for refusing to chat. The important thing is that you tried and it is important that you do the same when you meet eyes with a woman across the room or the street. Just because one woman said no, do not stop trying.
