The people behind ReviewYourChoices.com are really onto something. They have taken the forum/blogging concept and opened it up to any one who has a valuable opinion on anything in the world and made it possible for them to make money doing nothing beyond posting.
When the site first went online, ReviewYourChoices.com aimed simply to make it a lot easier to research reviews for products and services. A computer no nothing could stumble upon a site with a forum reviewing something. The problem is that it takes time we don't have to sit and read these different sources. Hours down and eye fatigue is often all we have to show for it.
Review Your Choices puts it all under one roof, or website in this case. First and foremost the site is there to help people who are looking to study up on whatever product, or service, before they commit money and time. Like any site, it has to give value to draw traffic and there is value in being able to see user reviews on anything in seconds without wasting a bunch of time.
Overall, the site does a bang up job in achieving it's original mission. It contains a well planned set of categories and a growing list of highly specific sub categories. The web masters who put the site together let it grow based on what the user chooses to write about.
Based on that alone, Review Your Choices should be on everyone's favorites files. However, the excitement lies in what it means for literally anyone who wants to weigh in with an opinion on whatever, that might be helpful to someone else.
Nothing to be gained from hiding it. I am a hard core sports fan who uses internet forums to share my opinions and show off what I think know with others like me.
The Detroit Free Press is one of my favorites. It is a newspaper that had the brilliant idea of allowing posts in a forum following each article. Readers are able to leave their opinions and get responses from other readers of the same article.
After a tough game involving one of my favorite teams, the paper will have an article posted almost immediately. The fans jump on and start talking about the game. Every person has their own unique outlook on what they saw, and almost always some plan to make the team better. On many evenings you'll have 400 posts or more in less than an hour. What is happening here is the creation of a large community sharing all at once.
Bottom line for me is that it is a lot of fun. Amidst all the red hot opinions, something is hard to miss. It's this: The person with the freshest, funnest take that says something of importance and value, draws the most viewers and gets the most responses.
What is happening is a mini version of what Google is trying to make the internet into. Basically, Google wants to send it's users to the best most relevant content on the web and away from the junk. Google envisions an internet that becomes more open and useful to everyone in the future.
ReviewYourChoices.com appears to be taking that direction to heart. The site is structured to give anyone with a valuable opinion on a product, service, cause, entertainment or travel experience, or whatever, a platform to share easily and makes it possible to earn money by sharing.
For the honor of your review, the folks at Review Your Choices put their time, talent and money behind the goal of bringing traffic from all over the world to see what you have written. Generally, the principle behind this is that a review is valuable information and the giver of that information is entitled to get a piece of the money pie online.
Believing in that idea has worked big-time for Google and many, many others.
What Myspace and Facebook have become to online self promotion and social networking, ReviewYour Choices.com stands a chance of becoming to the sharing of ideas with real value to literally anyone instaneously. Then it goes the extra dozen miles, adding in the awesome wrinkle of paying a person for the simple act of sharing an opinion.
And don't forget, the user is not sacrificing the beneficial opportunity promote his/her own product, service, cause, or talent.
I know this is something that people love to do. With ReviewYourChoices.com, a poster who gives can get back the value it creates in the form of income. Sign up is a snap, and you have not obligation. Get on there and share your experiences when you want.
Folks looking for quality reviews on anything can find it here, or if you want to share what you know for the betterment of others, this is a great site.
