If I were to convince you to name something that requires a whole lot of time, patience, and comes with its share of problems, what would it be? Most people would probably never initially say this, but maintaining a relationship is something that fits this description to a "T". Unfortunately, many relationships are never long term, and we often fall in and out of love very quickly. Since this is the case, how would you handle yourself, if after a breakup, you figure out that you're still in love with your ex girlfriend? There are only two things you can do. You can either cope with it, by carrying on with your life. On the contrary, you can also try to win back your ex girlfriend.
If you are still in love with your former girlfriend, learning how to cope with it is much complex than people realize. Sadly, you're still carrying a lot of unsettled feelings, like sadness, and anger, that when not dealt with properly can create more anger and confusion about the separation. You may have periods of not fully knowing why the break up occurred. You may also find yourself recollecting over good memories you shared together. These are obvious behaviors for someone that is still in love with their ex. However, it is crucial that you get your heart healed of these bad feelings before moving forward with any relationship, with or without your ex girlfriend.
If you decide to take the road leading to getting your ex girlfriend back, this requires you to analyze the entire situation from a distance. Ask yourself, "How bad was the breakup after all?" You should also find out if she's in another relationship. These answers are important because they will help you determine how you should plan your method of getting her back.
It is also recommended that you do some constructive soul searching and self evaluating. Find out if you were really happy in the relationship. It may be true that you still have feelings for the person but could you find yourself in a long term, happy relationship with her. You must also ask yourself if you are willing to risk being hurt all over again, in an effort to win her back. Is your ex girlfriend worth you going through all the possible stress or is it easier for you to just let her go? These are very important questions you must answer before learning how to get your ex girlfriend back.
The first thing you must figure out in order to win back your ex girlfriend, is to discover the reasons why the previous relationship ended. There's no use in trying to start back up the relationship, with the same old problems still present. It will be a complete turn off, if your girlfriend sees the same problems that led to your previous breakup, still lingering around in your relationship.
While you are trying to analyze this problem, it is important to be completely honest about yourself and how the relationship functioned in the past. It's not enough to just say , "I'm sorry and I want you back!" You have to be willing to give 100 percent of your effort in order to see your former girlfriend running back to you. You have to throw your pride out the window and be willing to change some things about yourself.
A good way of doing this is by lending yourself to your ex's friends and family. This is a good way to discover personal and detailed information about her current life. If both her family and friends really like you, they can even help you win her back. However, even though this appears to be a great idea, strangely, this approach could backfire terribly and end all of your efforts for good. With this being said, I recommend applying the counsel of dating services, that can offer many tips on how to get your ex girlfriend back.
I advise that you also keep the communication lines open between you and your ex girlfriend so that the possibility of a close friendship developing again can occur. Keeping the communication lines open may allow for a deep friendship to reemerge again, which can possibly lead to both of you getting back together again.
