We have seen an increase in couples choosing to get married in their own personal choice of surroundings whether this is due to budgetary constraints or otherwise. Generally beach wedding dresses do tend to be cheaper than the more traditional gowns.

One of the main drivers in the process of finding a beach wedding dress is the personality and attitude of the bride. Whilst the bride may have a less formal approach to her special day it is still important that she exudes the devotion and class that the service richly deserves. Her dress should not be so informal that it looks out of place against the backdrop.
Consider the weather when choosing a gown as many times the heat can be unbearable on the beach. The beach wedding dress should be made of light, flowing fabric to help the bride tolerate the heat of the day, as well as the reception to follow. If the weather turns chilly after the ceremony, a light shawl or jacket can be matched to the dress to make the bride more comfortable.
Overall the beach wedding dress should suit the bride in terms of personality, shape and fit, this should then be considered against the fact that the wedding is on a beach and she should then start to address the practicalities of this.
