The second component is tides. Choose a place that is not affected by the tides. It may be a romantic vision that you are getting married as the tides are lapping and coming on the shore. You also have to get protection for bugs. Generally, the high wind does not make the bugs to stay for long. Yet, find out if the place is prone to any type of bugs, and plan to get rid from them.
Also, choose the most romantic time of the day. Generally, the sunset time is mesmerizing. But there can be strange odors at that time on such locations. The sunrise or sunset can add sparkle to your engagement ring.
Guests are an important part for the whole planning. You have to give special considerations to their likeness and necessities. For example, if there is a guest on wheel chair, check out for the facility of wheelchair accessibility on the location, and prepare it beforehand.
Another thing is to make avail the bathrooms on the location. Check whether it is clean and accessible. Some locations have bathroom facilities, but most of the time, they are almost outhouses. And definitely, an outhouse bathroom is not that great option for your guests on their expensive party wears.
Last but not the least, consider the possibilities of having uninvited guests if you are selecting a public location. There can be sunbathers standing beside on their bermudas and bikinis as you pronounce the wedding vow. You may arrange special security to avoid this problem. But however, if you want to keep everything private, then better go for a private beach.
For a finishing touch, plan to re-create the atmosphere of the location. Do not arrange anything that may seem to be out of place. For example, choose very simple, light shaded, soothing and soft costumes. Hawaiian shirts and sundresses are popular options for the guests. Arrange for live and local music. You may go for steel drums, ukulele etc. Serve the guests seafood and fruits, as they are very popular options for this location.
This is all you have to do to get everything right to spend the most romantic day of your life in the most romantic way.
