If you are going on a trip to the Bahamas, then you will obviously need and want to know where the best places are for you to stay; one of the best places without a doubt is the Atlantis Hotel in Bahamas. The Atlantis Hotel in Bahamas is located on Paradise Island, near Nassau in the formerly British Bahamas and just a hop from Florida.
Atlantis Paradise Island is by far the biggest resort in the Bahamas. Located on New Providence Island, the word "resort" barely does it justice; Atlantis is a combination of amusement park, water park, casino, spa, beach all rolled into one sparkling and gigantic package. There are so many lagoons, water features, walk-through aquariums and waterfalls that it's considered the largest marine habitat in the world. With over 2,700 hotel rooms and villas, there are a variety of accommodation choices in three large hotels and a villa complex. Facilities at Atlantis include water slides; a kid's club; special teen activities; a dozen or so bars; numerous restaurants; a theater; a sports club; a spa; and a casino.
The Coral Towers are an ideal choice for families with young children and they can entertain themselves in the Discovery Kids Adventure Camp. The dcor in The Coral Lounge and Atrium Lobby is very elegant with skylights, fountains and sculptures with a marine theme. For a really opulent lifestyle however, guests can be pampered at The Royal Towers. This accommodation at the Atlantis Paradise Island contains The Bridge Suite, a set of ten rooms that come with a cook and a butler to satisfy every whim. Naturally, there is a long waiting list for this suite. Guests, who manage to get in, including several celebrities, are rewarded by gold chandeliers, balcony views and a baby grand piano.
There is plenty for guests to do and see, whether they want to relax or be more active. The Aquaventure waterscape opened in 2007 and contains slides, lazy rivers, rapids, underground caverns and a rock climbing wall. There are other water parks at the Atlantis Paradise Island, such as The Current and The Power Tower. The Mayan Temple Slides at the Royal Towers are water slides, one of which is a clear tunnel that goes through a lagoon filled with sharks.
The Dig is a delightful attraction for people interested in marine life. It contains various aquariums located underneath the lobby at the Royal Towers and is the largest open-air marine environment in the world. Species on view include sharks, manta rays, jellyfish, stingrays and barracudas.
There is world class dining, superior customer service all around, personalized service and amenities; there is truly nothing that you would want at a resort that you could not find at the Atlantis. It is easily the most fun-filled and action packed resort on all of the Bahamas, and this is why it is the number one resort for vacationers who travel to the Bahamas.
