Atlanta is all about Southern hospitality, and there is no better place from which to enjoy all that this Georgia city has to offer than from a cozy bed and breakfast. Whether you come to town on business or pleasure, here are some Atlanta bed and breakfasts that are sure to please:

Ponce de Leon Place Bed and Breakfast is just minutes from all the action, yet tucked just outside of the city's downtown area. Each of the four guest suites has been individually decorated, and each offers something special. The Executive Suite has a private, screened-in porch. The City Suite has a pot-bellied stove. Guests are treated to a full breakfast, the perfect site to a day of sightseeing and shopping.

Built at the end of the roaring 20s, The Beverly Hills Inn is located in the posh Atlanta area of Buckhead. Enjoy a walk around the neighborhood and you'll find an abundance of interesting architecture, as well as the Governor's Mansion. There are 18 rooms and suites to choose from, and each has been individually decorated. The inn is about 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta and near to plenty of shops and restaurants.

Stonehurst Place is another Atlanta bed and breakfast that is just minutes from all the city's major attractions. The National Register home, built in 1896, is located in the downtown area's theater and arts district. There are five guest rooms and quiet, peaceful grounds with gardens. Breakfasts are often served on the screened-in porch where guests can enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Virginia Highland B&B, a restored 1920s-era Craftsman bungalow, is another Atlanta bed and breakfast option within walking distance of the city's botanical garden. Guests can relax in the garden or on the hammock or swing on the screened-in porch. There are three guest rooms, two with a whirlpool tub. The bed and breakfast is close to all of Atlanta's major attractions.

The King-Keith House is one of Atlanta's most photographed historic buildings. Its stunning Victorian architecture is enhanced with its whimsical exterior paint. The interior is equally lovely and the guest rooms feature antiques and period touches. Several rooms boast either a Jacuzzi or clawfoot tub. The Cottage is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The whirlpool tub is tucked into an alcove lit by a stained-glass window and the bed chamber includes a sitting area and fireplace. This Atlanta bed and breakfast is located in the city's Inman Park neighborhood, just minutes from downtown.
