The apartments in Orlando tend to be a little expensive in the short run because of their proximity to the theme parks. You can find reasonable cheap places online though, with detailed information about the apartment and surrounding area. But nothing beats seeing the places yourself, especially to find out about the neighborhood. There are around 90 residential neighborhoods, with many large housing developments. If you keep in mind your budget and your needs, you can easily eliminate most of them and find what you are looking for.
For the most part, the best choice you have when it comes to getting an apartment is checking out several apartment complex communities. Aside from giving you a good selection, apartment complex communities also provide amenities and facilities such as gyms, community clubhouses and swimming pools. The complexes also provide an air of close-knit community feel, so the more extroverted of you can easily meet new people without having to go far. As always, the number of amenities you can have will depend largely on how much you're willing to pay for your apartment.
Orlando and its surrounding areas are split into roughly 7 areas from which you can choose an apartment. There are several apartment complex communities for you to rent from if you want to live in a more close-knit residential community. These come with their own apartment complex facilities such as a gym, swimming pool and clubhouses. The more you're willing to pay, the more amenities your apartment complex will come with.
If you are looking to stay in Orlando temporarily, have a bigger budget and want reliable housing, then the Marriot offers its own apartments for rent. This is ideal if you are going to Orlando on a business assignment. If you have the money, it might be a good idea to buy an apartment in Orlando. Although a little expensive, they make an excellent place to retire to or as a second house in a tourist place. They can be quite profitable to rent out while you are not there
