Things don't look all that good in the world today, in particular the economy. I sometimes get the feeling that there is an unraveling of society, starting at the top levels of business and finance. I have to admit, that I have moments, during which I feel that it would be best to just run away from the world, and my personal problems. Unfortunately, this is absolutely not a viable solution. What really is needed, is more control, and more choices, for everyone, equally. I recently had a conversation with someone about my business, and they said, "Who is going to want to take more vacations, when even the banks are closing down?" What an excellent question? It couldn't be more timely. MOR Vacations isn't only offering a way to get away from your financial problems, it is offering much more than that. It is offering a way to get back control of your money.
Money is a major source of personal freedom, though unfortunately, many people do not recognize that. Think about it. What really is the bottom line, in deciding just what kind of vacation you take, or where you can get your children educated, other than money. At this point, remember not to give in to thinking money is any sort of problem. Money is a means of exchange.... nothing more. The problems are what people do with their money. Now, aside from the difference between credit, and savings, a major flaw in the majority of peoples thinking about money is, that there's really not enough to go around. This is nonsense. The closest thing to that idea being real, is the few people who simply could never have enough money, like a hundred million dollars isn't enough. They need two hundred million. In reality, those people are suffering from some deep set of psychological problems.
The truth is money, like everything else, in the universe, is plentiful. There is enough for everyone to have all that they need, to fulfill the passions in their lives.... period. We get so caught up in worrying about money, that only a few ever stop and think about it, as something that can easily be conquered. After all, it was created by people for the needs of people, so why don't they just take control of what is theirs to control. It seems reminiscent of a quote by the world's most well known genius, Albert Einstein, who said, "The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly, or hostile universe." I assure you, this is a friendly universe. But it does not come without a conditional contract. If you do not consciously work to create your desires, something you may not like, will take there place. It is like in nature... there is a phenomenon known as a vacuum. Now, imagine you have a glass jar where all the air has been sucked out, creating a vacuum. As soon as you open it up, whatever air that happens to be around gets sucked in. This is how life operates.
The deal is you must choose whether you want good clean oxygen, that energizes you, or do you want poison to fill your jar. A quick warning to the procrastinators out there. If you choose to ignore what is coming into your life, in nine times out of ten, it will probably be something you don't want. Here are two intertwined concepts that are important to embrace One is having freedom, the second is taking responsibility. With these two principles working in your life, you can get into a position where wealth can truly be created. "Why?", you might ask. Well, because having the freedom, is having time to pursue the necessary changes, to get your life to were you want it to be. Responsibility.... because you can't achieve freedom without owning your life.
It comes down to this, without freedom you can't pursue your own individual happiness, but without personal responsibility, you cannot have freedom. So the first thing you have to do, is make sure you are free to do what makes you happy. This really stops many people, because, they don't have the time, after the hundreds of hours per year they put into their jobs, to then put energy into their passions. This needs to change. If the world is coming to a serious crossroads, then every individual needs to reflect upon their own lives, and take serious steps to insure that their lives are the ones they want to live. I have no time,or energy for the thinking that freedom and happiness are things that need to be earned, or given as privileges. They are not. Freedom, and happiness are the paths upon which our lives are meant to naturally unfold. They are our systems of growth.
This, then means, without any doubt, that our responsibility is to insure our freedoms, and seek our happiness, as the basic meaning of being human (human being). This task set forth, is a task of balance. I'll put it this way. You need to take control of your life, but only with compassion and humility. This however, does not mean that earning your wealth and abundance has anything to do with suffering, in order to get it. These things are just waiting for you to embrace them, as they are already here. They are not things to be earned. This is not a whimsical idealist dream. It does mean work on your part, but prosperity is something you can have, by doing the work. I guarantee it.
I'd like to offer to you a way to take back control of your life. One, where your efforts will create the life you want, and to teach you how to be more aware of what creates your freedom, in the most direct, external way, which of course is money. Everyone has a different path to follow, but they all lead to the same place. And I'm not saying I have all the answers, but I do know a way to take that most important first step. That is becoming Financially Free.
