Undoubtedly still on everyone’s lips, Ibiza Island reigns on the hedonistic metre. This mecca located in the Balearic Island in Spain hosts famous DJs who spin to dizzying heights. Rub elbows with clubbers who come from neighbouring European cities or from the other side of the hemisphere. Where to find the hippest crowds? They flock to see big names perform at Space, Privilege and Pacha.

In Cyprus, the temperature gets hotter when nighttime hits Ayia Napa. Standing at the heart of the Mediterranean where east meets west and where the three continents meet, it’s no wonder that Cyprus is a well-known destination. Favoured for its glorious beaches, it is also fast becoming a stop in the party circuit. In the last 10 or 15 years, this family-friendly leisure spot has attracted clubbers, mostly British, to such places as Club Abyss and Insomnia. The music is leaning towards the R&B and hiphop vibe.

Not to be left out on this list is Miami, a city that never loses its pulse on the party scene! Apart from stunning beaches and celebrities you might bump into, look forward to a feverish state in the dancefloor. Taking the cue from the Latin flavour inherent in Miami, expect to dance to salsa beats in The Bongo Cuban Café. For the upscale trendy set, make way to the Opium Garden and Mansion. On the other side of the country, Los Angeles is a haven for club denizens too! Hollywood celebrities prowl around at night in numerous mostly word-of-mouth places; some prefer the secluded whilst others are just aching to be seen in the most exclusive one in the lot. But in all likelihood, the action is in Sunset Strip, that long stretch of bars and clubs.

Zurich also has a hip nightlife, a surprising feature of a city that’s known for its financial acumen rather than its propensity to party! The former industrial enclave of Zurich West has been converted into an entertainment hub. Places worthy of mention are Club Q and Lotus Club.
